ROI Senior Advisor Carter Henderson was the listing agent on the transaction. The deal was closed in June 2019. This was at a sale price of $1,409,000. It consists of two parcels combining for 2 buildings of nearly 14,000 sq. ft., .8 acres, and 215’ of frontage on Florida Avenue.
The original building was constructed in 1950. At the time, it was a post office. Most recently, however, the past owner had occupied the building for nearly 20 years. The buyer, Top Affordable Real Estate, is controlled by a local investor who will lease out the suites for retail use in the emerging Seminole Heights neighborhood of Tampa.
The seller of the property Bali Bay is a recognized retailer in the Tampa area. Bali Bay is an importer of Indonesian clothing, jewelry, and furniture and is known for its assortment of uniquely Asian furnishings. With the sale of the proeprty, Bali Bay management has has successfully completed its strategic move to a fully online-only retail presence.
