Robert Louis Shepard Looks Back in His Book On Life Well Lived

“Dr. Robert Shepard’s book, Fulfilling My Destiny, Step by Step, speaks with clarity to parents and adults.” — The late Rev. Dr. Nilous M. Avery, Sr., Former Pastor, Hill Street Baptist Church, Asheville, NC
Author Robert Louis Shepard shares the details of his life to show readers that no matter where their journey began they can find their purpose and their passion to maintain hope and follow their dream in his memoir, “Fulfilling My Destiny, Step by Step – An Autobiography -” (published by The Shepard Institute (TSI), LLC).

Beginning with his family history and town where he was born, Shepard moves to recount his experiences at schools and places of work in “Fulfilling My Destiny, Step by Step” revealing the core values instilled in him by his parents, which became his foundational pillars.

Shepard’s lifetime of rich experiences is presented with historical context. He reflects on how these experiences interlaced with the history of African Americans to shape the man he has become. He writes with honesty and conviction and his story ultimately shows readers the possibilities of achieving their dreams with hard work, courage, and steadfast faith.
