Pomona Distilling Co. is Producing Its Own Hand Sanitiser During COVID-19 in Noosa Shire QLD
Noosa Shire, QLD – Pomona Distilling Co. has joined the fight against the spread of COVID-19 and has started manufacturing its own hand sanitizer which is available in the restaurant for all its customers. While many hospitality businesses in Noosa Shire and surrounding areas have had to close due to this tough period, Pomona Distilling Co. has done its best to keep its doors open by producing its own hand sanitizer during this period of COVID-19 infection, while its employees are guaranteed a job despite the hardship.
This prestigious venue is situated in the historic site of Pomona’s original bakery, built at the beginning of the 20th century, and although it has always been the first choice to celebrate weddings, birthday parties or simply to enjoy good food and the best drinks, during this difficult period, the place has limited its services by offering a varied menu of exquisite dishes available only for take-out and also offering its effective hand sanitizer at a reasonable price.
“Pomona is a small community and we want to do what we can to help the locals, therefore our aim has been to move production to hand sanitizer to help keep our staff employed and our doors open. We are now offering takeaway meals, cocktail jars and hand sanitizer as this is the only way to keep our doors open. Furthermore, we have donated bottles of our sanitizer to the QLD ambulance service,” said the spokesperson for Pomona Distilling Co., regarding their temporary business practices due to COVID-19.
Its PDC hand sanitizers are available for $15 with every takeaway order (one per order). It has been elaborated in compliance with the World Health Organisation specifications and unlike most commercial brands available on the market that are only made with a 40 to 60% ABV, Pomona Distilling Co. uses a higher alcohol content of 80% ABV which is even higher than what’s used in the health system, making it more effective against viruses such as COVID-19.
