Die Epic: The Anti-Brand That Cultivates Authenticity at Every Turn

From using customers as models to giving back, Die Epic aims to stand out among crowd.

The team at Die Epic has worked diligently to create an “anti-brand” by cultivating an image that’s helping them to stand out from the crowd. The company, which offers apparel for women and men, stickers, gear, personalized accessories and items, and much more, continues to forge ahead in their mission of being authentic at every turn.

There are many ways Die Epic is accomplishing their goals in being a community-oriented and authentic company. For example, customers help choose the products the company sells and the charities they support. “This is a movement of epic people crushing goals, empowering others, helping charities, and getting out of their comfort zones,” said a spokesperson at Die Epic.

Die Epic has created an “unbreakable ethos” that includes no paid models (all of their models are real customers); transparency; honest reviews; striving for local products made in the USA; and a pledge to only offer items on their website that their team actually have used.

The team at Die Epic is very committed to giving back to the world around them. For example, their team and followers did 25,000 pushups to raise money for personal protective equipment (PPE) at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic for first responders and medical staff that couldn’t obtain it.

Die Epic’s team is also focused on triggering community feedback and interaction. So far, they have more than 100,000 tagged posts on Instagram with the #dieepic hashtag on pictures of people getting out of their comfort zones.

The team is also hard at work creating a brand new CraftEpic section which will serve as a platform for adrenaline junkie artists, creators, and small shop manufacturers who make branded products for Die Epic. They’re actively recruiting creators at this time.

They’ve also started something called TribeExpert, which works to teach other small businesses how they can build loyal online tribes.

“We’ve been called the ‘most tattooed brand on Shopify’ as hundreds have tattooed our logos on them without us asking,” said the Die Epic team. They are continuing to forge ahead in their rich dynamic community culture, which is also helping others through charitable initiatives and learning experiences.

While Die Epic may be known to many as an apparel and accessories company, this “anti-brand” is creating a niche all of its own. More information can be found at https://www.dieepic.com/.
