Think Outside The Box: Short-Term Dreams and Long-Term Goals
LOS ANGELES, CA – Apr 12, 2021 – On September 24, The Modern Day Wife along with Project YOU hosted the virtual event “Long-Term Dreams and Short-Term Goals.” The online event was all about women helping women, and how to stay motivated despite COVID, featuring a celebrity panel made up of Fashion Designer Rebecca Minkoff, Founder of Skoah Skincare Andrea Mundie, Actress Daphne Wayans, and HGTV Host Sangita Patel. The panel members went over what they are doing to stay on track, their strategies for goal-making, and how they are managing all aspects of their lives – career, family, social life.
The event flowed from segment to segment including a business Q & A with Diva Cup founder, Carinne Chambers-Saini who discussed how her product has disrupted the feminine hygiene market, by providing an eco-friendly, clean and comfortable way to address menstrual care on the market today. Carinne was followed by XXV Beauty Founder Jasmine Dernehl, who gave a makeup tutorial on how to elevate a makeup look over Zoom or #WFH. A fashion segment later followed with Susie Hall of Turnabout Luxury Resale, based in Vancouver.
LA-based DJ Complex Lex opened the event with a pre-show which was followed by a Wine 101 segment with Spade and Sparrows, led by sommelier Samantha Capaldi. Chambord Liqueur followed with a mixology session as guests followed along at home in making their own personal cocktails.
The Modern Day Wife and Project YOU partnered with LA Style Magazine, a Los Angeles luxury lifestyle magazine covering the latest in fashion, business & inspiration. Founder Tricia Love Vargas spoke at the event giving her top 10 business tips to attendees.
