How this 25 year old Entrepreneur went from living in his mom’s basement, to making multiple 6 figures
Mason Pastro grew up in a small town, Windham New Hampshire.
A suburban neighborhood filled with the average “white picket” fences of middle class Americans.
From a very young age, Mason knew he wanted more.
He tells reporters that he started watching documentaries on the law of attraction at only 10 years old.
“I would visualize myself driving a go-kart that I wanted at the time. When summer came around, I spent 3 days straight doing yard work out in front of my grandpa’s mile long barn just so I could save up.”
His work ethic was established from a very young age.
With dreams of making it big, Mason always felt separate from other kids his age.
Being raised by a single mother, his work ethic came from a desire to help his mom pay her bills.
There would be times when his mom couldn’t afford to pay for his school lunches.
Although they were living in a middle class neighborhood, times were tough.
Once every couple of months, debt collectors were knocking on his mom’s door.
Fast forward to senior year of high school, Mason began his journey of self development.
What started as a curious spark at the age of 10, turned into personal growth.
He started watching and listening to motivational speakers on youtube, reading books, and trying to understand how to become financially independent.
That’s when he started his very first business selling bathroom vanities.
It quickly gained traction and within the first two months was turning a profit.
With his newfound success, Masons decided to drop out of community college and pursue his dreams of being an entrepreneur full time.
The only problem?
He didn’t know where to go from here.
“I remember feeling like a complete outcast. I would visit my friends at their college and feel ashamed for telling people I dropped out. Even though I had some success, I felt little to no support from anyone” Mason told reporters.
That’s when he started networking and meeting other entrepreneurs on social media.
He met his first entrepreneur friend Lucas Johnson.
A 20 something year old kid traveling Europe, making a living with his ecommerce store.
Mason and Lucas quickly became friends and started playing video games with each other late at night.
Mason was ready for a change.
He asked Lucas if he could come live with him in Florida and Lucas accepted.
This was the start of a huge shift in Mason’s life.
Mason proceeded to move down to Florida with Lucas while at the same time, his business was not doing so hot.
His sinks business had failed and he was ready to start a new one.
He had found a job working at a software company and began to save up some money.
Within a year, he became business partners with his boss of the software company and together they started a web design business.
The web design business went on to do multiple six figures in its first year.
This was Mason’s first taste of real success in business and he was hooked.
What started out as a vision in his mind, working as a dishwasher in small town Windham New Hampshire, was now a reality.
Today, Mason is the founder of www.conversiontime.io a digital marketing agency that provides conversion rate optimization services for ecommerce brands and information product businesses.
His message to others his age wanting to start a business is to not give up on yourself. Keep trying and trying again until you eventually succeed.
