CANADA VISA FOR ISRAEL CITIZENS

The duration and purpose of an Israeli citizen’s trip to Canada determine whether a visa is required. The Canada visa is not optional; all Israeli nationals visiting the country for a short period of time must obtain one. Israeli nationals must apply for a Canada eTA visa to enter Canada for leisure, business, transit, or medical visits. In 2015, the Canadian government launched the Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) system for passengers from over 50 countries, including Israel. Israelis going to another country via a Canadian airport can take advantage of the Canadian eTA. Visitors to Canada for business, transportation, or tourism must get an eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization). Israeli travelers should note that the Canadian eTA is electronically linked to the passport used to complete the application. The Canadian eTA is valid for 5 years or until the Israeli citizen’s passport expires. This is a multiple entry visa waiver and can be used for any number of trips within the 5-year period. The maximum duration of each trip is 6 months. Travelers wishing to travel to Canada for other reasons such as study or work should contact the nearest Canadian embassy or consulate for more information. This visa waiver system allows citizens of Israel and some other countries to easily obtain travel authorization without having to visit a Canadian embassy or consulate. CANADA VISA FOR ITALY CITIZENS

The Canadian government created the eTA in 2015 to facilitate short-term foreign travel. As an Italian citizen, you do not need a visa to visit Canada. Before taking off, you must receive an ETA if you are flying. The Canadian eTA is a multi-entry permit available online. Italian visitors must apply online for a Canadian Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). They can now visit Canada without obtaining a visa. The Canadian eTA permits Italians to visit Canada for up to six months without a visa for vacation, family visits, business travel, or transit. It is valid for five years and allows Italian travelers to stay for a period of six months on each visit. This Online Travel Authorization is connected to the traveler’s passport electronically and cannot be transferred to a new document. This means that if a passport expires after 5 years, the Canadian eTA will as well. Italian passport holders traveling to Canada can enter Canada with an approved eTA without applying for a standard visa at an embassy or consulate. This can be done in minutes. Simply enter the required details in a short form and the eTA will be confirmed by email shortly thereafter (usually within a maximum of 24 hours).

REQUIREMENTS OF CANADA VISA FOR ITALIAN CITIZENS

• Valid passport – verify the expiration date of your passport before applying for an ETA. This document needs to be valid for another six months from the date of arrival in Canada.
• E-mail address – a valid email is required to make your online application and also for the reception of the document. If you want, you can print your ETA.
• Means of payment – you can pay with different payment methods such as credit/debit card.

CANADA VISA FOR JAPAN CITIZENS

The Canadian eTA is a digital visa waiver designed to make visiting Canada easier for nationals of specified countries, including Japan. The eTA permits Japanese nationals to visit Canada for up to six months without a visa. To enter Canada, you must have a visa, which is a stamp in your passport. To travel to Canada, Japanese nationals must get an electronic travel authorization (eTA). For travel, business, transit, or medical purposes, Japanese people must get a Canada eTA visa. All Japanese citizens entering Canada for short-term stays must get a Canada eTA visa, which is not an alternative. Japanese citizens can use the Canadian eTA for a variety of activities, including tourism, business, and transit. Applicants must meet some basic requirements for the Canadian eTA for citizens of Japan. The eTA is easy to apply for by filling out a quick online form. A short application form must be completed and then the approved eTA will be electronically linked to the traveler’s Japanese passport.

Canadian Visa Requirements for Japan Citizens

CANADA VISA FOR SOUTH KOREA CITIZENS

In 2015, the Canadian government implemented an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) system for travellers from more than 50 countries, including South Korea. The eTA for South Korean nationals is designed to allow those traveling to Canada for vacation, business, medical treatment or consultation, or transit to another country to get authorisation electronically. The eTA application is only available to air travelers. South Korean passport holders are not required to obtain a visa to visit Canada under the Canadian visa waiver program. The Immigration Service of Canada used the eTA system for the first time in 2015 to examine the eligibility of foreign visitors and to speed the application process. Citizens of South Korea are eligible to apply for the Canadian eTA online, which has replaced the visa. The eTA allows Canadian authorities to pre-screen foreign travelers and makes it easier for South Koreans to enter Canada. Travelers may stay up to 6 months during each trip and may enter Canada multiple times within a 5-year period. The Immigration Service will record the length of stay when the traveler arrives at the border and the expiry date will be written on the passport. The eTA application for South Korean citizens must be submitted at least 72 hours prior to travel to ensure the document is processed and the eTA is issued before you travel.

CANADIAN ETA REQUIREMENTS FOR SOUTH KOREAN CITIZENS

• A South Korean passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel
• A valid credit or debit card to pay for the eTA fee
• A current email address to receive the eTA in their Inbox.

CANADA VISA FOR LATVIA CITIZENS

Citizens of Latvia can receive a Canadian Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA), which is required for travel to Canada. The Canadian government created the eTA in 2015 to minimize the complexity of traditional visas. The visa policy of Canada allows numerous countries, including Latvians, to visit the border without a visa. Any Latvian national visiting Canada for a short period of time must obtain an electronic travel authorization, or eTA. Some travelers can enter Canada legally thanks to a computerized system known as the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA). It is available to nationals of a few countries, including Latvians, whose residents are permitted to visit or conduct business in Canada for a limited time. The Canadian eTA is a visa waiver for multiple entries that can be obtained online. It is valid for 5 years and allows Latvian visitors to stay in the country for 6 months on each visit. The electronic travel authorization is linked to the traveler’s passport and is not transferable to a new document. This means that if a passport expires before the allowed 5 years of the Canadian eTA, then this travel permit expires as well. Latvians who meet the requirements can proceed to the eTA application form for Canada. This form is a simple questionnaire that takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR CITIZENS OF LATVIA

• Valid Passport: You cannot apply for an ETA from Canada if you do not have a valid passport. This document must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of flight
• Email address: You must provide a valid email address as the ETA confirmation will be emailed in PDF format. The ETA is electronically linked to your passport, but you still need to keep a physical copy.
• Payment Methods: You can use a credit or debit cards, but you can also use PayPal to pay for the eTA fees.
